Rivka Beila / Beba Hamburger

Feb 21, 2010 - Mrs Frida Reiss told me that the name Beila was given because Gittel Zeitlin who was Freida Herskovich's sister in law requested that the name of her mother Beila Schlesinger from Pressburgh should be given (Rivka was Bluma Zeitlin's mother).

Frida related what a special woman her mother Beba was, she was gifted with a keen sense of perception. While living in Switzerland as a child, Frida says her parents lived an exemplary Torah life style, not deviating a bit from the frum way. Their Mesirat Nefesh for Yiddishkeit was inspiring and imbued her with strength.
