Presumably born in Wiznitz (now Vyzhnytsia) in the Bukovina region of Austria-Hungary (now in Ukraine) and possibly died there as well, but also known to have been in Chenewitz, (now Chernivtsi, Ukraine) for at least a photo session.
Possibly d. 1909 Chernivtsi, Bukovina, Austria-Hungary (now in Ukraine) based on gravestone of a Rifka Schauer d. 1909 at the Chernivtsi Cemetery (Cemetery ID: UKR-00389) on Zelena Street - Area 25 Parcel 128 – image available but largely illegible. Is this the right person?
