Robert Charles Eby

Robert Charles Eby, 85, of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away on Friday, November 5,2021 at Majestic Care of Battle Creek.

He was born on May 12, 1936 to Charles and Margaret (Paulson) Besenbruch in Detroit, Michigan. Robert worked as a Welder for United Steel & Wire.

Bob enjoyed watching NASCAR, old western movies, traveling throughout the United States, Canada and several trips to England. He loved horses and had worked at a horse stable as a young man.

Robert is survived by his loving wife Sheila, his siblings; Joan Lumpford of Long Beach, California, Patricia (James) Tassell of Sterling Heights, Michigan, Joyce Butler of Ft. Myers, Florida, Linda (Gary) Kirby of Lapeer, Michigan, Diane Marcelli of Naples, Florida, his special friends; George (Beverly) Mercer of Battle Creek, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Dolores Willavize.

A memorial visitation for Robert will take place on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 10:30 – 11:30 am at Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services 2838 Capital Ave. SW Battle Creek, Michigan 49015 with a memorial service to follow at 11:30 at the funeral home. Interment with full military honors will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan.
