Robert Elliott
Services for Robert Elliott, 70, who managed the Twin Cities Ford Assembly Plant in the 1940s and 1950s, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Mr. Elliott died Thursday at home in Hudson, Wis.
He joined the Ford Motor Co. in 1920 after working as a cowpuncher, U.S. Army officer on the Mexican border and tobacco grower.
Mr. Elliott moved to the Twin Cities in 1935, and was active in St. Paul civic associations.
Survivors include his widow, Corinne H.; a son, Robert Jr.; and two daughters, Mrs. Thomas J. Wellman, Stamford, Conn., and Mrs. Roy W. Smith, Edina.
