About Robert Galbreath
Notes
From https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Durham-9
On September 29, 1743, nearly 3 years after Thomas Dodson's death, his widow, Mary (Durham) Dodson, married local planter Robert Galbreath. There were apparently issues with the marriage as her son, Greenham Dodson, filed suit in Chancery Court in Richmond Co., Virginia, in 1744. The court ruled in 1745 as follows:
" . . . Complainant Greenham Dodson to take possession of the estate for the use of his mother, Mary Galbreath, during her coverture according to the intention of the Testators Will, the said Robert Galbreath in open court refusing to give security . . ."[5]
