Robert Irvine

Robert Irvine, 1st of Moncoffer

    Robert Irvine, 1st of Moncoffer is the son of Alexander Irvine, 8th of Drum and Lady Elizabeth Keith. He married, secondly, Margaret Skene, daughter of Alexander Skene, 12th of that Ilk.

     In 1589 Master of Household to 5th Earl Marischal when he later escorted James VI and I's bride, Anne of Denmark, to Scotland.
