Robert Dean La Mar went to University of Wisconsin Madison. He enrolled in ROTC while attending. After graduating he was an officer in the military, in WWII he was a captain. He was Stationed in Europe for about 5years in WWII. He was very thankful when he came home, he was a war hero. Picture taken around 1945 when LT Col Clifford M La Mar was 58 and Captain Robert was 26. Robert served in WWII and CM La Mar served in both WWI and WWII.
