About Robert "Marsh" Andrews
Monroe Edwards interviewed by his granddaughter, Robin Guay, about Marsh:
"My grandfather also knew your great-grandfather. When I asked him about Marshall Andrews, he just laughed and said, "Oh,yeah, Marsh Andrews!" I knew him well. He had a hump on his back from carrying rye, sugar cane and corn to the fellows making moonshine!"
He just laughed and got so tickled!! He said", That Marsh Andrews was a dangerous man!! I used to get my moonshine from him!" I said that you would be interested to hear that bit of info, and he said, "Now don't tell her that!" I laughed with him and said, "Now grandpa, that's part of history!" The twinkle in his eye and his snickers told me that he (Monroe) and Marsh had a few adventures together, many years ago! He also said that his family bought a mill from Marsh."

Marsh's corn mill was a tub wheel (which lays flat and the water pours onto it and it turns) Grady Mashburn later changed it to an overshot wheel (which stand upright).
