He was alive as of 14 Jan 1572/3 as he was left by his father lands in Alconbury, Weston and Ellington, county Huntingdon; his later history is untraced. He was mentioned in the will of his father dated 14 Jan 1572/3 215 "To Robert my son £80 to be paid unto Richarde Grene, he to bring up my son Robert and to have the use of his money until he attain 21 years of age.".
