About Robert Pedrick, Jr.
Robert's father having married a Justice, identified with the Penns Neck Branch of the Old Swedes Church, the family continued to be so affiliated and this part of the branch did not become allied with the Quakers. He left five pounds in his faters will, and with instructions to be put to a trade when fourteen, but where and what is not known. His brother miles, the eldest of the children, was left all the land, but Robert succeeded in securing considerable fast land and meadow as evidenced at time of death. He died intestate and Jacob Gooden and Richard Somers were appointed to administer. Inventory of personal $2,705.76. Commissioners were appointed by the Court to Divide the real estate and report was made in December 1827, record in book D-PP-329-342, Division of Lands including a map of four pages very finely executed indicating his land as lying on both sides of the public road marked "Pedricksburg to Scull Town" and from Beaver Creek to the town, and all the meadow land adjoining along Beaver, Old Mans, and "Batstone Creeks. This property was partitioned, numbered and marked out on the map to ten children. The sequence of the births of the ten children with approximate dates as close as can be calculated are registered below. Some otr the old wills have bequeathed bibles which would be valuable and interesting if they could be located
Buried at Trinity Episcopal Cemetery, New Jersey.
