About Robert L. Pemberton
https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=27163510
Apparenly Robert and his brother Isaiah Pemberton III both went to Bloomfield in 1827. Robert died there 30 Aug 1828. Records in Union Monthly Meeting, Miami Co., Ohio show Isaiah III and family returned there on 7 Mar 1829.
On December 1, 1827 the Bloomfield meeting appointed a committee to have the meeting-house grounds surveyed and a graveyard staked off. Trustees of the property were also appointed. The church was located half a mile north of the village, and later became Bloomingdale Monthly Meeting. The cemetery is located half a mile south of the original village. It is a level well-kept piece of ground; a noticeable feature, especially in the older part, is the type of low, plain monuments.
Some of Robert's children moved to Back Creek MM, Grant Co., Indiana. Their marriages and children can be found in Willard Heiss, Enclyclopedia Of American Quaker Genealogy (Indianapolis: IN, 1970), Pages 101 ff, Back Creek Monthly Meeting.
