In the 1930 census of Albany, Albany, NY District 80 it states that Robert Schroll is from Schlesien, Prussia, Germany. It states that his wife, Mary C., is from Hessen, Prussia, Germany. She immigrated between 1883-1885.

age when first married: 21(not necessarily married to Mary Catherine) which puts the date at 1878. Mary was only 8 years old at that time. It seems that his marriage to Mary was his second marriage in 1886. Mary was 16 years old.
