Rodney Carlos Badger Badger was born in Salt Lake City, a son of Nancy Garr and Rodney Badger, a year after his pioneer parents arrived in Salt Lake City. His father, Rodney Badger,who drowned when young Rodney was five years old.
Upon reaching adulthood, Badger was a LDS missionary to California and worked as a surveyor and a telegraph operator with the Utah Central Railroad.
He married Louisa Adeline Noble December 27, 1877 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Married Harriet Ann Whitaker Taylor December 7, 1871 in Salt Lake City
and also married Elizabeth Harrison.
Rodney died in Salt Lake City of sepsis from a streptococcus.
