About Roger Rogers
Mary Robeson Lincoln married before, 17 January 1742, to Roger Rogers, and on that date gave a power of attorney to her, son-in-law,(who married Anne Lincoln, Mary's step-daughter), William Tallman of Amity, Pennsylvania, in which she is described as, "Mary Rodgers of Exeter...Sole Executrix of Mordecai Lincoln, my deceased husband." This power of attorney was to authorize William Tallman to dispose of the one hundred acres of land in New Jersey (Philadelphia Deeds, Book D3, page 146)
Roger Rogers died intestate and the administration was granted to Mary (Robeson Lincoln) Rogers, his widow, 22 December 1758. There is no evidence of their having children.
In June 1775, Mary (Robeson Lincoln) Rogers, was administrator on the estate of her son Thomas Lincoln, (Ancestry of Abraham Lincoln, page 70-72[1]
