Ronald A. Seale
Ronald A. Seale was born June 24, 1948 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In his youth, he learned a wide array of skills and reinforced his moral values as a member of Pelican Chapter in Louisiana. After his induction in 1962, Seale showed amazing leadership potential and was elected to serve as Master Councilor after only being a member for just about a year. Among many awards and honors he has received by DeMolay International, he is a recipient of the Chevalier, Cross of Honor, and the Active Legion of Honor.
During his growth from childhood to adulthood, his attentiveness to his education was not to be dismissed. Seale would become a graduate of the Louisiana State University (L.S.U.) in 1970 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Furthermore, he would go on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the Cumberland School of Law, in Birmingham, Alabama.
Shortly before graduating from L.S.U. in 1970, Seale began his impressive Masonic career. He was raised a Master Mason in East Gate Lodge #452, Louisiana on November 23, 1969. In 1988, he served as Worshipful Master of East Gate Lodge. He embraced the Masonic Community as a whole and his wide array of membership reflect this very fact.
Seale's personal and community accomplishments are as varied as his Masonic memberships. Seale has served as a delegate to the Louisiana Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. He has served on the Board of the First United Methodist Church, as Chairman of several Commissions and a Youth Coordinator. Furthermore, he has served for over 30 years as a teacher of adults and youth in Sunday School. Seale served on the American Heart Association Board in Baton Rouge. All the while, he never forgot his DeMolay beginnings, serving a Chapter Advisor on three separate tenures. He is currently an Active Member of the DeMolay International Supreme Council.
It goes without saying, Seale's affinity and impact in the Scottish Rite is immense! Seale was a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies of Baton Rouge, and was a member of the degree teams for the 5th, 27th, and 31st degrees. He served on Masonic Law & Jurisprudence in 1991 and 1997 - 2003. He was coroneted a 33° Inspector General Honorary in 1993. Seale was appointed Sovereign Grand Inspector General in Louisiana in 1995. He was elected Deputy Grand Commander of the Supreme Council, Southern Jurisdiction in 1999. Seale was installed Sovereign Grand Commander of the Supreme Council, Southern Jurisdiction on October 7, 2003. The DeMolay Hall of Fame is proud to announce its latest member, Ronald A. Seale, Grand Commander of the Supreme Council, Scottish Rite Southern Jurisdiction.
