Ronald Charles Ettles

Died, January 20, 2014 in the Hospice in Kelowna BC surrounded by his family.
Born in 1936 in Port Alberni BC, Ron is survived by Vi, his wife of 51 years, son Scott (Kathy), daughter Leslie Desrochers, (David) and grandchildren Sarah, Lauren, Elizabeth, David, Ryan and Danielle. As a graduate of UBC (BSc) and the DGA program, Ron worked at Eatons, MacMillan Bloedel and Revenue Canada. Long time residents of North Vancouver, Ron and Vi retired to rural Lake Country, BC where Ron was actively involved with the Prince Charles Masonic Lodge and local Shrine Club.
The family wishes to thank Drs. Leon Bard and Denis Sokol, the staff at the North Shore and Kelowna Hospices and the Palliative Home Care nurses for their exemplary care.
A gathering of family and friends will be held in North Vancouver at a later time.
