Ronald Neal Mellencamp, 64, of Seymour died at 1:22 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007, at Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion, Ill. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Acme Cemetery with military rites by local veterans' organizations. Calling will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday followed by a 7 p.m. service with the Rev. Harold Rodney Carr officiating. Survivors include former wives, Sheryl Rebic and Judy Mellencamp; children, Tony Mellencamp, Stephanie (Bret) Mellencamp-Cunningham, Tommy (Rachel) Mellencamp, Jason (RaeAnn) Mellencamp; seven grandchildren; a sister, Wilma Bolton; and brothers, Samuel (Diane) Mellencamp and Merrill Mellencamp. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice of charities.
