Rosalie Helen Fairbridge

Helen Rosalie Fairbridge, nee Lovemore; travelled with her husband in Griqualand. Later he went to Rhodesia by wagon and she and her children, including Kingsley, went by sea from Delagoa Bay to Beira where they were met by Mr Fairbridge and travelled by train and coach to Old Umtali; later they lived in New Umtali, where she died in 1929. Information from Kingsley Fairbridge's Autobiography and from her nephew J. F. Fairbridge, Salisbury, 1959.
