Obituary for Rosalie Brand Laner Rosalie Brand Laner passed away with her family beside her, on April 16, 2007 in Delray Beach, FL after a brief illness. She was born and spent most of her life in the Kansas City area before moving to Delray Beach, FL five years ago. She will be remembered as a dignified woman with a heart of gold, who loved life, family and friends, and absolutely adored her grandchildren who knew her as “Gogo”. Rosalie is survived by her loving husband, Allen Laner; her daughter and son-in-law: Tina and Tim Dooley, Bellaire, TX; her son, Jordan Brand and his partner Stephen Hulcy, Dallas, TX; her step-children, Karen Laner and Peter Friedmann, Glenview, IL; Linda and Arnie Brown, Buffalo Grove, IL; David and Diane Laner, Dallas, TX; Tab and Debbie Cohen, Chesterfield, MO and six grandchildren, Cheryl and Meryl Nolan, Michael and Jennifer Brown, Morgan and Samantha Laner. She is also survived by her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Marilyn and Dr. Milton Ozar, Delray Beach, FL and many caring and loving relatives and friends. Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob Greenberg and Bernice Greenberg Friedman, and husbands, Marcus Brand and Sherman Cohen. The family extends special thanks to the Hospice of Palm Beach County for their tender care and support. Funeral services will be 1:30pm Thursday, April 19 at The Louis Memorial Chapel. Burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
