Rosalyn Goldberg

GOLDBERG, Rosalyn - 61, Sydney, passed away on December 26, 2006, after a long struggle with illness. Roz, as she was known to many of her friends and family, was an avid cook who enjoyed current events, interior design, arts and crafts, and knitting. She was also very fond of animals. Prior to her illness, Roz owned a plant and gift boutique for a number of years and was a successful real estate agent. She enjoyed her family immensely, and was especially fond of her two year old granddaughter, Sarah. Roz will be remembered as a vivacious spirit, with a loving personality and a great compassion for others. She exuded joy, humour, and interest in all those around her. Roz is survived by her husband, Hyman Goldberg, Halifax; brother, Lionel Hirsch, Sydney; daughters, Lisa Goldberg, Halifax; Rinah Goldberg, Calgary, Alta.; son-in-law, Chris Richards, Calgary, Alta.; son, Lyle Goldberg, Halifax; daughter-in-law, Della Morrison, Halifax, and granddaughter, Sarah Goldberg, Halifax. She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Ann Hirsch, and brother, Alfred, all formerly of Florida.
