In the 1920 census for San Diego, California, Rosamond was 7 years old living with her parents and sisters. They were listed as follow in the census record: Thomas, 58, Margaret E., 38, Linda Marie, 17,Margaret A., 14, and Rosemond, 7. They were living at 1871 Sunset Avenue in a home they owned but had a mortgage. Tom was working as a house building contractor. Tom was born in Wisconsin, Margaret, and their first two daughters in Arizona and Rosamond in California.

In the 1930 census for San Diego, California, Rosamond was 17 years old and was living with her parents, Tom, 57, and Margaret, 42, and her married sister, Linda Marie Rynning Taylor, 22, and her husband, Gordon T. Taylor, 32. Linda and Gordon had been married for two years and Tom and Margaret had been married for 24 years. They were living at 4030 Jefferson Avenue, a home her parents owned which was valued at $5,000. They also had a radio in their home. Thomas was born in Wisconsin, and his parents were both born in Norway. This census record shows Margaret's father was born in Illinois and her mother in France, but that is incorrect, since her father was born in Iowa and her mother in Illinois. Gordon was born in California but his parents were born in England. Gordon was the only one working in this census and he was a real estate salesman.

In the 1940 census for San Diego, California, Rosamond was 28 years old, living with her parents and sister, who were listed as follows in the census record: Tom, 74, Margaret E., 58, Linda Rynning, 33, and Rosamond Rynning, 28 years old. Their home was located at 4427 Brighton Avenue, and they were renting it for $35 per month. Thomas was working as a deputy marshall for the federal bureau of investigation. For the 52 weeks he worked at 44 hours per week in 1939 his income was $1,800. Tom had a 6th grade education, Margaret had 2 years of high school, Linda had 2 years of college and Rosamond had 4 years of high school. Tom was born in Wisconsin, Margaret and Linda in Arizona, and Rosamond in California.

In 1947 and 1948 Rosamond R. Fogarty was living at 4883 Santa Cruz Avenue with her husband Don P. Fogarty, who was working as a lawyer for the Luce, Forward, Kunzel & Scripps law firm. In 1950 they were living at 4269 Mentone and Don was working for his own firm, Fogarty & Vaughtn. Just 9 years later in 1959 Rosamond R. Fogarty was living at 4427 Brighton Avenue (her parents home) and was listed as the widow of Don P. Fogarty.

In 1962 Rosamond was working as a saleswoman at Woolworth's and was living at 4138 Cass. In 1970 she was listed as the widow of Don P. Fogarty and Rosamond was living at 1059 Grand Avenue. In 1973, 1974 and 1976 she was still living at 1059 Grand Avenue and was listed as being retired. There was also a Diana Fogarty living at the same address on Grand Avenue, so perhaps she was Rosamond and Donald's daughter.

In 1993 Rosamond Rynning Fogarty was living at 1069 Grand Avenue in San Diego, California, 92109-4118. She passed away there March 29, 1996.
