Rose Christian Rose Kapela Christian of Anahola, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on July 18, 2013 at the age of 88 at Hale Kapuna Heritage Home. She is born on May 14, 1925 in Laie, Oahu. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by mother, Rose Kaomea Keawemauhili; father, Thomas Valenine Kintaro; husbands, George P. Keaweamahi, Jr. and George S. Christian; sons, Colton, Silman, and Lyle. She is survived by sons, Julian and Keawe Rillamas, Oahu; George III, Latham; and Wendell Keaweamahi, Kauai; daughters, Cleo Kamae; Georgina KeawemauhiliKeaweamahi; and Pearl Keaweamahi, Kauai; Edith Bunch, Arizona; brothers, David Mamane; David and John Kamauoha, Oahu; sisters, Jennie Kojima; Happy Taualii; Louise Sanford, Oahu; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins and friends; 31 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-great-grandchild. Friends may visit with family at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary, Koloa on Monday July 29, 2013 and visitation at 9 a.m. and Service at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery, Hanapepe.
