Roy Gilman Putnam

Roy G. Putnam Dies at Pocatello Roy Gilman Putnam, 72, former Auburn resident died Friday of last week in a Pocatello hospital after an illness. He was born July 28, 1886 at Woodruff, Utah to Seth Ham and Anna Mariah Tucker Putnam. He married Elsle Benzley April 17, 1906 at Auburn. He resided in Star Valley for many years before moving to Shelley and American Falls Idaho and to Pocatello in 1918. He was active in the church and was a talented musician, playing with dance orchestras on his violin. Attending the funeral services from Star Valley were Mr and Mrs Floyd Leavitt and children, Mr and Mrs Ray Leavitt, Euvern Putnam, Al Putnam, Mr and Mrs Gerald Putnam, Mr and Mrs Erlon Putnam, Mr and Mrs Ira Davis, Mr and Mrs C. E. Leavitt and C. H. Davis.
