Royal R. Ness
Royal Reuben Ness, 71, Erskine, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005, in Innovis Hospital, Fargo.
Mr. Ness was born Oct. 21, 1933, in Fosston, Minn. He grew up attended school in Erskine. On Jan. 10, 1959, he married Judith Marquardt in Brooks, Minn. They lived in Erskine for two years before moving to Maple Bay, Minn., in 1961. They farmed near Maple Bay until moving into Erskine in 1997. He also worked as a bulk truck driver for Midland until he retired.
He is survived by his wife; a brother, Gordon (Norma), McIntosh, Minn.; and a sister, Pearl Trandem, Erskine.
Visitation: Monday from 5 to 7, with a prayer service at 7, in Carlin-Hoialmen Funeral Home, Erskine, and Tuesday from 10 to 11, in Rodnes Lutheran Church near Erskine.
Funeral: Tuesday at 11 in the church.
Burial: Rodnes Lutheran Cemetery.
