Royce Denzil Davis, Sr

It was late in the evening. About 11:00 pm. Denny was in bed, trying to sleep. But that was difficult, because the neighbors were having a party. A loud party. He called them, asking them to lower the volume, to no avail. He stood outside on his front stoop, demanding that they turn down the noise, but still they ignored his request. In desperation, he got his shotgun, and stood again on the front stoop, yelling for them to lower the sound so he could sleep.

This time, they didn't ignore him. They called the police.

The police came, but Denny didn't hear their sirens, because the music and noise were so loud.

The police saw his shotgun, and they drew their weapons, calling for him to drop the shotgun. At some point, Denny heard voices yelling at him from the street. He turned to see what was going on.

Unfortunately, as he turned, so did his shotgun.

The police, sensing danger (I suppose), fired upon him.

They killed him on his doorstep.

nor the one named Lois J. Wray.
I was Royce Denzil Davis Sr.'s second wife, and bore him 2 children.
His first wife was named Rose (unknown), and she also bore him 2 children, one of whom still lives (royce Denzil Davis, Jr.) and the other, Mark Anthony Davis, was born aabout 1956, and is now deceased (date unknown). Both these sons were incarcerated from time to time. Both were born in Columbus, Ohio.
My husband's third wife, to whom he was married but a short while when he was killed by police, was Maria (surname unknown),, who was originally from Honduras, and barely spoke any English. I believe she is still alive.
Perhaps the two names you have listed for Denny were actually the wives of his eldest son, Royce Jr.
