Rulon Dean Hair, 84, died December 29, 1996 in Kirkland, Washington.
Born as the largest baby ever in Wasatch County, Utah on July 26, 1912. He spent his younger years traveling the United States and working as a salesman, cab driver, and many other jobs. He married Mildred Egbert in Salt Lake City on February 14, 1936. Rulon went into business opening Spudnut stores and soon relocated to the Seattle area. He fulfilled his dream by building a home on Lake Washington. He spent the last fifty years of his life in the Kirkland area.He was a member of the LDS Church and the Elks Club.
Survived by wife, Mildred, Kirkland, Wash.; daughter, Ronda Petersen, Kirkland; grandchildren, Jason, Nathan and Victor Petersen of Everett, Wash.; sister, Luella Whyte, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by son, Ronald Hair; and daughter, Burdene Hair.
Funeral services Saturday, Jan. 4, 1997, at 1 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
