Ruth Bramwell Barlow, age 85, passed away October 17,1990 at her home in Bountiful.

Born July 25, 1905 in Rexburg, Idaho to Enoch Ernest Bramwell and Zilpha Ann Holman. Married Charles Nelson Barlow May 21, 1930 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in several organizations, especially as Sunday School Secretary for many years. Ruth graduated from the LDS Hospital School of Nursing in 1929 and worked in Bountiful for Dr. Juel E. Trowbridge and at the Bountiful Medical Center for nearly 40 years until retirement in February 1973. She was lovingly called The Florence Nightingale of Bountiful.' She served a full time mission with her husband in the Steubenville, Ohio area, making lasting friends.

She is survived by her husband, two children, Ronald Charles, Bountiful and Karen (Terry) Tucker, St. George, and Robert and Alberta Burrows (son and daughter in law). A daughter, Helen (Burrows) preceded her in death. Her posterity includes 31 grandchildren and in laws and 15 great grandchildren. Also surviving her are a brother, Ralph Bramwell, San Diego Calif, and two sisters, Genevieve (George) Neuenschwander, Ogden, and Helen B(Robert) Calder, Eagle CO.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday October 20, 1990 at 12 noon in the Bountiful 3rd Ward Chapel, 50 South Main.The family will receive relatives and friends at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main on Friday evening, October 19, from 6-8 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10:45-11:45 prior to the services. Interment: Bountiful City Cemetery.
