Ruth M Geary

Geary, Ruth M. - Age 84 years, of Champion, Pa., died Thursday afternoon, October 9, 1980, at her home. She was born April 14, 1896, in Champion, Pa., daughter of the late A.J. and Elizabeth Berg Bowman. She was a lifelong resident of Champion, and a member of the County Line Church of the Brethren. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Frances Daniel, Champion, and Mrs. Samuel (Jean) Zelenske, Jones Mills, Pa.; four sons, Reed, Masontown, Glenn, Champion, Dale, Acme, R.D.1., and Dean, Mt. Pleasant, R.D.1.; seventeen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Alex Geary, 1952 and a son, Paul Ivan, 1978. Friends will be received in the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., route 711, Melcroft, today 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and in the County Line Church of the Brethren, 12:30 to 2pm., the hour of service. Rev. Kermit Jones will officiate. Interment in Mt. Nebo Cemetery.
