Ruth Ann Triponey

Mrs. Ruth Luzier Triponey, 71, widow of Lucian Triponey, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Bailey, Bowie, Md., at 5 a. m. Sunday, following an extended illness.

Born at Surveyor Oct. 15, 1893, she was a daughter of the late Dundee E. and Sara Jane (Graham) Luzier.

She was a member of the Centre Grove Methodist Church and an honorary member of the Women's Society for Christian Service and the church stewards.

She is survived by these children: Mrs. Mary Jacobson, Glen Richey; Elmer, Hyde; Mrs. Gertrude Painter, Clearfield; Mrs. Hilda Bailey, Bowie, Md.; Ernest, Olanta; Mrs. Betty Clark, Lancaster, Calif. Eugene, Monroeville; Dean, Curwensville; and Russell, Clearfield R. D. 3.

Also surviving are 27 grandchildren a brother, Kyle Luzier, LeContes Mills, and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Shugarts, LeContes Mills and Mrs. Viola Harris, Nemacolin, Pa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucian, a daughter, Esther, and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday in the Centre Grove Methodist Church with the Rev. William Norman and Pastor Lew Parks officiating.

Interment will follow in Crown Crest Memorial Park.

Friends will be received in the Fred B. Leavy Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p. m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m., and in the church Friday from 12:30 p. m. until the time of service.
