In 1798 Samuel and his wife, Christian, sold 55 acres of land in Louisa co., VA to Thomas Bibb. (Brockman Scrapbook, page 189). 4. In 1813 there was a deed from Samuel Brockman to Thomas Bibb for 37 acres of land in Gallatin co., KY "for natural affection and $1.00." This 37 acre plot had been purchased in 1803 by Samuel B. Brockman.
