Samuel Darley Eubanks, III

Samuel Darley Eubanks was the son of Samuel and Talitha Toole Eubanks.

After much research, I believe Samuel Darley Eubanks was named in honor of a beloved Methodist Episcopal Minister in Barnwell the last name being Darley. Also, his father, Samuel Eubanks did not have a middle name. Being born in the 1700's, people of English descent did not have middle names. The Eubanks Family Book compiled by LaVern Cave Davis located at Edgefield and Aiken South Carolina has many mistakes and several family lines have been mixed up.

Note: The Aiken County Cemetery Book has the date of death as March 16, 1876. This was incorrectly transcribed. As you can see on the tombstone, the date of death was 1879 instead of 1876. The correct date of death is March 16, 1879.
