Samuel Lamb(e) (4/12/1685-1728), (baptized 4/12/1685), the son of Abiel Lamb (8/2/1646-10/16/1709)(he served in the King Phillip's War) and Elizabeth Clark Buckminster (1/31/1647-12/11/1692) Lamb. His siblings were: Harbottle (baptized 2/28/1675)(12/28/1674-1771), Dorothia Lamb (1678-1760-), Abiel the 2nd (12/23/1679-1771) (m. Hannah Taylor (1710-1752) and had 8 children), and Jonathan Lamb (11/11/1682-1749) (sp. Lydia Death). (These children were on the Roxbury Births list)
He married Ester (Hester) Joslin (1683-1729) Lamb.
Their children were Mary Lamb (5/31/1710-), Barzilla Lamb (1712-1752)(on Roxbury Birth list) (sp. Sarah Knowlton), my line, and Samuel (1721-1793) Lamb (sp. Sarah Atwood (1/1748-).
I was told they also had a son Joshua who came from a second wife Mary. I found this Samuel who married again, a second wife Mary (-7/16/1778) and they had at least, a son Joshua Lamb (8/15/1733-). Archives and Family search: Joshua son of Samuel and Mary: Aug. 15, 1733. from Massachusetts, Town Clerk, Vital and Town Records. However, it is listed that our Samuel died in 1728 and this Joshua was born in 1733.
