Samuel Lathrop, III

Samuel Lathrop III was the son of Samuel Lathrop Jr., and Hannah Adgate.

He married Deborah Crow on July 24, 1715 in Norwich, New London Co., CT. Deborah was the daughter of Nathaniel Crow and Deborah Leffingwell.

Samuel and Deborah had several children:

1) Deborah Lathrop b. 9 Jan 1717 d. 1777 m1. Ephraim Avery (had 9 children); m2. John Gardiner (had 2 children); m3. Maj. General Israel Putnam (no children). Deborah died October 4, 1777 in Brooklyn, Windham, Connecticut 2) Lt. Ezra Lathrop b. 4 Dec 1718 m. Charity Perkins 3) Samuel Lathrop IV b. 1 Jan 1721 m. Elizabeth Bishop 4) Elisha Lathrop b. 29 Dec 1723 5) Elizabeth Lathrop b. Jan 1726 (died young) 6) Hannah Lathrop b. 15 Jun 1728 (died young)
