Surrey, Esq., a Commissioner of H.M.'s Navy at Chatham. It also states he had a daughter called Mary who married John Houlton, of Seend, and of St. Olave's, Hart Street, London, gent., who was buried at Seend 5 Aug. 1704. And it states his daughter Arabella was the second wife of William Bouchier, Boucher, or Butcher, who was described in 16S7 as of "the Middle Temple, London, gent.," and in 1692 as of "the Close of Sarum, gent." This William Boucher was son of William Boucher of "the Close of Sarum, gent."

According to this source http://genforum.genealogy.com/pate/messages/4719.html, Samuel Pett, of the Navy Office, was first married to Arbella or Arabella. He married (ii) Mary Long of Battersea, a widow, the allegation for marriage licence being dated 9 June 1684 [V.G.], he being then aged about forty. These sons were Robert Lee the eldest son of this marriage, who died 25 April 1685, aged twenty-two years and nine months ; Daniel Lee, who died 9 December 1 680, aged thirteen years and four months, and Francis Lee, who died 7 December 1695, aged six years and six months.

By his first wife he had issue a son and four daughters : Toby or Tobias Pett, christened 28 September 1675, and buried 9 October 1675 at All- hallows Barking. Elizabeth Pett, who married William Lee, esquire, son of Robert Lee, of Chatham, by her aunt Elizabeth (Houghton), relict of William Pett of Chatham, her uncle. Allegation for marriage licence dated 17 April 1694 [V.G.], she being of Battersea, spinster, and he of Chatham. She is named with her husband in his mother's will of 1710, and both were dead in April 2 D . Rose Pett, christened 4 September 1677 at Allhallows, Barking. She was named in her father's will of 1695. Mary Pett, who married 23 July 1696 at St. Olave's, Hart Street, John Houlton of Bromeham, co. Wilts, as a bachelor. Allegation for marriage licence dated 20 July 1696 [Fac. office], he being aged twenty-four and she seventeen. They were both dead in April 1737. Henrietta Maria Pett, who married Peter Otger II February 169! at St. Alphege, London Wall. They were both living in April 1737. 5 Arabella Pett, the youngest daughter, christened II February 169! at Allhallows, Barking.
