Samuel Pease was among the white men killed. The administration of his estate went to Richard Hilton of Exeter on Nov 05, 1706, and his widow had a grant from the town on Feb 04, 1698, of fifty acres of land which was laid out on Oct 28, 1700 at Piscassic (Newfields) NH. The name of this Samuel's wife, may have been Elizabeth, and she remarried after his death, Jan 22, 1707 to Samuel Smith of Hampton, NH, whose grandfather, Samuel Smith, came from Martha's Vineyard.
