Sandy Biekkola

"Sandy was born November 26, 1941 in Ishpeming, Michigan, the daughter of Vivian Laitala Maki of Ishpeming and the late Victor Laitala. She was a graduate of Northern Michigan University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in elementary education. After her marriage to Bill Biekkola on August 15, 1964 in Republic, Michigan, she taught at Park School in Kaukauna, Harrison School near Sherwood, and St. Pius X School in Appleton.

She was a longtime and active member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Kaukauna and was a former member of King’s Daughters. In her younger years, Sandy enjoyed playing bridge, golf, attending sporting events, and spending time at the family cottage near Rhinelander. Her most treasured times were spent with family and friends."
