Sara Bena Winiarz

Daughter Henny Kutsher related (in conversation with Yossi Yeinan ; May 2020) that her grandfather Kehath died when her father Yaakov was quite young. After his death, Yaakov began working in the town drugstore, which was owned by his non-Jewish friend Radek. After the war, Radek sent Yaakov's wife Sara Bena (Henny's mother) copies of all of the family's vital records. Sara Bena feared that the US authorities might deport them back to Poland, so she tossed all the papers into a river. When Yossi visited Wojslawice in 2017, he saw the building that formerly housed Radek's drugstore.
