Sarah A. Hershberger

DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. Sara Coblentz, 77, of Dawson Springs, Ky., died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, at Tradewater Pointe Nursing Home in Dawson Springs.

She was a member of Trinity Gospel Tabernacle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Coblentz Sr.; two sons, Alvin Coblentz and Joseph Coblentz Jr.; two daughters, Esther Coblentz and Freida Coblentz; and a sister, Fannie Roberts of Alliance, Ohio.

She is survived by four daughters, Erma Weaver of Dawson Springs, Leona Luttrell of St. Augustine, Fla., Rachel Clark of Lobelville, Tenn., and Edna Curtis of Paris, Tenn.; two sons, Leander Coblentz and Elmer Coblentz, both of Sarasota, Fla.; 34 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Plainview Mennonite Church in Auburn, Ky., with the Rev. Howard Jones officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Mennonite Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 9 tonight at Bandy Funeral Home in Nortonville, Ky.
