Bedent Baird married Sarah Britton in 1802. He was born Oct. 9, 1775 (he was NOT born in 1755) in NY State and died May 26, 1837 in Warren County, OH. Sarah was born on 13 Nov.1784 and died on Apr 16, 1858 in Warren Co. Ohio, They are buried in Clear Creek Baptist Cemetery in Warren County. [There's some confusion about the dates of their births and marriage, but the births of the children indicate an 1802 marriage and the age on his gravestone indicates a 1775 birth date. "The Bedent Baird family settled at Jacksonburg, Butler Co. Ohio about 1812 after coming from Schoharie County, New York by wagon over the mountains and down the Ohio River by boat to Cincinnatti. Jacksonburg is about 12 miles west of Carlisle, Ohio, north of Cincinatti. where Bairds had settled from NewJersey in the early 1800's."
