Sarah Baldwin

Sarah Beecher, dau. of Ebenezer Beecher and Hannah Mix, was born in New Havem New Haven Co., Connecticut on May 8, 1720. She married with CAPT. TIMOTHY BALDWIN, son of Timothy Baldwin and Zerviah Johnson on Jan. 15, 1844 in Derby, Conn. He was born Dec. 13, 1722 in Milford, New Haven Co., Connecticut. She died Sept. 19, 1794; he died Dec. 22, 1800; both buried at Old Derby Uptown Burying Ground, Derby, New Haven Co., Connecticut.

Children were: Sarah (11/11/1746), Timothy (9/6/1750), Thaddeus (6/22/1751), Seth (9/1/1752-10/13/1756), and Anne (2/24/1757).

Inscription: In memory of Mrs. Sarah Baldwin, the wife of Capt. Timothy Baldwin who departed this life September 19th 1794 in the 75th year of her age. Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord.
