Private Simeon Bigelow, born 12 April 1752 in Acton, Massachusetts, died 13 July 1837 in Brandon, Vermont, and his wives: (1) Sarah Foster (2) Elizabeth Avery and (3) Sarah X Avery are honored for service by the Daughters of the American Revolution: 1) ALSO ARTIFICER; CAPTS SHADDUCK, OAKS[3]

Simeon Bigelow was the son of John and Grace (Allen) Bigelow. Sarah Rebecca (Foster) Bigelow was his 1st wife. They were married December 14, 1780 and she died February 7, 1789. Elizabeth (Avery) Bigelow was his 2nd wife. They were married March 14, 1790 and she died April 21, 1804. Sarah Elizabeth (Bump) Avery Bigelow was his 3rd wife. They were married July 21, 1804 and she died December 15, 1856. Simeon Avery was her 1st husband.
