Sarah Brown

Biography

Sarah Brown was born circa 1632.

Sarah married John Brown, of Henrico. Together they had the following children:

Temperance Farrar;

Sarah Knibb;

Jeremiah Brown, of Varina.

She died circa 1692 in Henrico County, Province of Virginia.

She could not have had Temoerance Bailey for a mother, as that would mean her husband was a half brother

John Brown Jr. (1632-1684), Temperance's son, married a Sarah Cocke (1632-1692) who may have been a step-sister or step-cousin through his mother's second marriage. They had at least two children, daughters Sarah(1656-1696) and Temperance (abt 1665-1722). Sarah Brown married Samuel Knibb (1637-1691). Their son John Knibb (1685-1726) married Sarah Bowman (1705-1735), daughter of John Bowman and Sarah Royall.
