About Sarah Calkins
Sarah Kellogg Calkins was the daughter of Elizabeth Wood and Enoch Kellogg. Her father fought for the colonies in the Revolutionary War and her grandfather, Jonathan Kellogg, fought in the French & Indian War. Chauncey and Sarah were married in Saratoga County, NY. They had 9 children; three sons served with the Mormon Battalion during the Mexican War.
