Biography
Sarah Ingham was born in Saybrook, Connecticut, on June 11, 1658, the daughter of Joseph and Sarah (Bushnell) Ingham.[1][2]
She married Abraham Chalker, son of Alexander and Catherine (Post) Chalker, as his second wife, in Saybrook on September 23, 1686. Children:[1][3]
Abraham Chalker, born September 1, 1687; died September 16, 1687.[3] Sarah Chalker died, undoubtedly of complications from childbirth, on September 11, 1687, which was just ten days after the birth of their only child, who also died. She was 29 years old.[3] According to her Find A Grave: Memorial #174886065, she is buried at Cypress Cemetery in "Old Saybrook," Connecticut, but it appears that there is no gravestone extant.
