Sarah Jane O'LEARY "Sally" was born 22 Jun 1873 in Blacksnake Qld. She died 2 Apr 1963 in Eventide Home, Sandgate, Qld and was buried 4 Apr 1963 in Nudgee Catholic Cemetery, Qld.

IMBIL 11 April 1963 The death occurred in Brisbane on April 2 of Miss Sarah O'Leary (Sally) aged 89 years. The passing of Miss O'Leary has removed a very old identity of Gympie. Miss O'Leary was a daughter of the late William and Sarah O'Leary, old identities of the early days of Gympie, O'Leary's Crossing (now known as Bells Bridge) being called after Mrs O'Leary. The late Miss O'Leary was a well known horsewoman, having been successful competitor at Gympie Shows. She is survived by one sister Mrs S Robinson, Imbil, two brothers, Messrs Timothy (Ted) of Brisbane and Kevin O'Leary of Brooloo.
