SARAH E. JONES DIES AT PAYSON; RITES SATURDAY Payson - Funeral services for Sarah Elizabeth Jones, 74, 540 E. 4th S., who died after an illness Wednesday evening in Payson City Hospital, will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in Payson, First-Fifth LDS chapel by Bishop LeRoy Haskell of Fifth Ward.

Born May 8, 1881, at Payson, she was a daughter of Henry F. and Alta Pickering Sargent. She married Charles E. Jones May 7, 1901, in Payson; he died in Nov., 1938.

Surviving are a son and three daughters; Charles Jr., Salem; Mrs. Pearl Lundell, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Thelma Sperry, Nephi; Mrs. Alice Wilkins, Provo; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother and three sisters, Steven Sargent, Sacramento, Cal.; Mrs. Eva Crook and Mrs. Ann Barnett, both of Payson and Mrs. Pearl McKean, Woods Cross.
