Daughter of Isham Peacocock and Martha Easterling/Peacock. Married to Kader Keaton.

Sarah Peacock (Sept. 2, 1776-Aug 24, 1867) married Kader Keaton (Feb. 2, 1769-ca. 1820), son of Kader and Hester Keaton. The Keatons had moved to Warren County, Ga., by 1790, from Cheraw Districk, SC. Kader Keaton Sr. was a vereran of the Revolutionary War, and of the Cherokee Indian War Before that. Kader Jr. must have married Sarah Peacock about 1795, and they apparently remained in Warren County until after May 24, 1798, when they sold 150 acres adjacent to Keaton's Mill Dam to Thomas Jackson. They subsequently moved to Washington County, where they were living by 1804, when Kader registered for the 1805 Georgia land lottery. They apparently remained in Washington County until some time in 1818, since Kader shared administration of the estate of his brother William with William's widow Elizabeth between 1815 and early 1818. But by 1819, they had moved again to Ellis District, Twiggs County, where Kader and his son Isham both appear as winners in the 1820 land lottery. Within a year, Kader had died; both his widow and his opherans show up in McInnis District, Tattnall County, as winners of the 1821 land lottery. One of his sons, Kader Keaton III, was living in Lee's District, Wilkinson County.
