DIED, Departed this life, suddenly, on the 1st inst., Mrs. SARAH LOUISA LEETE, wife of Mr. Charles E. Leete, and daughter of Col. Samuel T. Hawley.

Possessed of rare sweetness of disposition, she was ever the light of her family circle, in her brief journey from the cradle to the grave. As a wife and mother, loving and devoted; as a daughter and sister, dutiful and affectionate: faithful and exemplary in all the relations of life, she leaves behind her a precious memory to be enshrined in many hearts, and a vacant place that never can be filled. To her children, yet too young to appreciate her value, the loss is irreparable.
