Sarah Minnie Lusk

Catrina, Natalie's daughter informed me that she saw Grandma's driver's license. On her license, her name was listed as Minnie Mae Lusk. She asked her grandmother, Gingie, who confirmed that "Sarah" was never Grandma's name. She didn't like the name "Minnie", because children in school teased her and called her "Minnie HaHa" and so she requested that everyone call her Sarah. She also denied her Native American heritage due to the same reason.

Grandma was a poet and wrote several poems. Her most loved poem was titled "My Big Mouth". She wrote the poem after a neighber woman made a comment about the size of her mouth.
