notes
Nathaniel-204's name appears on the Southold rate lists in 1683 for £49 and in 1685 for £32. In his father's lifetime the father deeded to Nathaniel much land, sundries, and a sloop. His will, Southold Apr 19 1698 probated Aug 26 1698, mentions wife Sarah, son Nathaniel, father Thomas, and five daughters. Moore's Index says he may have had a son Jonathan.
Robert Jackson wrote his will 25 May 1683.[45] His main heir was his son John Jackson, who was named sole Executor and Administrator. Robert added the somewhat curious advice that his estate be administered "immediately after my decease, lest it be embezzled away."
below is a portion of will
I give and bequeath unto my son Samuel Jackson, five mares, and my Cloake and five pounds in silver money and to his wife a hood and scarfe, and to every one of his children a piece of eight.
Item. I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah, the wife of Nathaniel Moore, two cows, and every one of her children a piece of eight.
Robert Jackson had three wives. The first one is unknown and the mother of Mary, John, Samuel, and Martha. The second wife was a Washburn, but her name was not Agnes. She is the mother of Sarah and another daughter. The third wife was named Agnes, widow of Robert Puddington
